The collection consists of a letter from Senator James Jefferson Wilson to E. Jackson of Savannah, Georgia dated January 23, 1819. Wilson describes the on-going discussion in the U.S. House of Representatives pertaining to General Andrew Jackson's conduct during the Seminole War and that in the upcoming vote, the majority will rule in Jackson's favor.
